Maldives Workshop Success: UWACAM 2.0 Features Get Rave Reviews After Expert Testing!

We're thrilled to report back from the fantastic underwater video workshop held earlier this April on the beautiful island of Dhangethi, Maldives! UWACAM was proud to sponsor this incredible event, bringing together passionate smartphone videographers and organized and led by experts Matthias Lebo and Sebastian Kuntz.

Expert Beta Testing & Exclusive V2.0 Demo

While participants captured stunning footage using the reliable UWACAM 1.x, the workshop also served as a crucial real-world testing ground for our team. Matthias and Sebastian took full advantage of the diverse Maldivian diving conditions to put the upcoming UWACAM Version 2.0 through intensive beta testing.

Following their dives, they demonstrated the exciting new capabilities of V2.0 to the workshop group, showcasing the next generation of UWACAM features in action.

Focus on UWACAM 2.0 Features & Feedback

The demos focused on major advancements coming in V2.0:

• All-New UWACOLOR processing: Participants saw the results of the completely rewritten algorithm – vibrant, contrast-rich underwater video achieved effortlessly, correcting colors dynamically either in real-time or during post-processing in the app.
• Integrated Vizalyzer AI: The potential to use AI for analyzing captures, identify marine life, and generate shareable descriptions right after surfacing sparked significant interest.

Seeing these features demonstrated with footage captured just moments before generated fantastic discussion. We were delighted to receive overwhelmingly positive feedback and excitement from the participants about the power and potential of these UWACAM 2.0 enhancements.

The successful testing by Matthias and Sebastian, combined with the enthusiastic feedback from the workshop participants, gives us great confidence as we finalize UWACAM 2.0.
